Hello all,

We know everyone is excited for our kids to get back on the ice and for information on tryouts. The Icedogs’ Executive Committee has been working hard to get them back on the ice as quickly and safely as possible. That being said the tryout process will be a little different for U10 and U11 this season due to Hockey Canada’s U11 (Atom) Pathway being implemented by HEO. To comply with the pathway this year’s tryouts will be held in a staggered approach.

Tryout sign-up will be open as of Monday August 1st. Early tryout fees will be in effect until midnight August 31st. All players must be registered with their home association prior to stepping on the ice for tryouts. Further information with exact dates and times will follow shortly. Electronic payments must be sent to icedogstreasurer1@gmail.com. Please be sure to include the player name in the comment section and use the password Icedogs2021.

****Late registration fee is waived for those players participating in Cobras tryouts

All players will receive a minimum of 3 ice times including at least one intrasquad or exhibition game.  Players with the U10 and U11 Atom Pathway will receive 4 unevaluated pre-tryout skates as well as a minimum of 3 evaluated sessions (7 icetimes total). For 2007 and 2008 birth years body contact clinics will be included in the cost of tryouts (more information to follow soon).

Nous savons que vous êtes impatients pour le retour au hockey et d’avoir plus ample informations sur les essais. Le comité exécutif des IceDogs travaille fort pour le retour sur la glace le plus rapidement possible tout en restant sécuritaire. Ceci étant dit, le processus d’essai sera un peu différent pour les U10 et U11 cette année en raison de la mise en œuvre par Hockey Canada du parcours U10-U11 (atome)  Afin de respecter le parcours, les essais de cette année se déroulent de manière échelonnée.

Les inscriptions seront ouvertes à partir du lundi 1er août 2021. Les frais d'inscription anticipée seront en vigueur jusqu’à minuit le 31 août 2021. Tous les joueurs doivent s'inscrire auprès de leur association maison avant d’entrer sur la glace pour les essais. Tous les paiements électroniques doivent être envoyés à icedogstreasurer1@gmail.com. Assurez-vous d’inclure le nom du joueur dans la section commentaire et utiliser le mot de passe Icedogs2021

Les frais d’inscriptions tardifs sont supprimés pour les joueurs qui participent aux essais des Cobras.

Tous les joueurs recevront un minimum de 3 temps de glace qui inclut au moins une joute d’exhibition.  Les joueurs ayant suivi le parcours U10-U11 (Atome) recevront 4 temps de glace non évalués avant les essais ainsi qu’un minimum de 3 séances évaluées. (pour un total de 7 temps de glace).

Pour les joueurs U14-U15 (2007-2008) il y aura des cliniques de contact physique qui seront incluses dans les essais. (plus d’informations à venir)
