On Wednesday night the Winnipesaukee Muskrats(5-8) hosted the North Adams Steeplecats(MA)(5-5-2) looking to snap a 5 game losing streak. The starting pitcher was Bryan Pazulski(2.2 IP 3 H 5 R 1 ER 2 SO). The Muskrats scored early in the ballgame jumping out to an early 5-0 lead after just one inning. The Steeplecats would then score 6 in the third. But the Muskrats would answer right away to take the lead and they would not give it back. The winning pitcher Justin Murray(3.1 IP 3 H 1 R 0 ER 3 SO) would be absolutely spectacular in this game and not allow anything to get away from him and give North Adams any opportunities while the Muskrats offense poured it on. All the Muskrats registered at least one hit and 8 different players registered an RBI. Kohl Abrams went 2 for 4 2 RBI’S. Cole Johnson went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI’S including a MONSTER home run as he stays hot. Nick Marrero had a 4 for 5 day with an RBI. Drew Metzdorf went 4 for 5 with an RBI as well just two days after his 22nd birthday. Muskrats pitching with Trevor Kirk(1 IP 2 H 2 SO). Trevor Anibal( 1 IP 1 H 2 SO) who made his Muskrats debut from SNHU in this game pitched amazingly. Kevin McNiff( 1 IP 2 SO) would close this game out. After a long night of a game that was three and a half hours long the Muskrats made the wait worth it as they snapped their 5 game losing streak winning 12-6 after a season high of runs and hits in this game. The offense easily had their best game of the season with these season highs.
