GLANBROOK (Feb. 8) -- Noah Bollert (pictured) scored at 2:01 of the second overtime period to give the Glanbrook Rangers a 2-1 triumph over the Niagara RiverHawks and a 2-1 lead in their Bloomfield Division opening round playoff series.

Bollert's goal, which came during a Glanbrook power play, put the finishing touch to a thrilling battle which featured a goaltending duel between Glanbrook's Matt Lukic and Niagara's Matthew Boere.  Lukic, back in the nets for the Rangers after sitting out Game 2 of the series, made 35 saves for the win, while Boere stopped 47 Glanbrook scoring attempts.

Bollert connected for his first goal of the post-season (after leading the Rangers with 35 during the regular campaign) at 17:48 of the first period to put the Rangers up 1-0.  Reid Lowe responded for the RiverHawks late in the second stanza and the teams remained deadlocked through the next 44 minutes of play until Bollert took advantage of a tripping penalty to Niagara's Giacomo Cotrufo for the breakthrough marker.

The series shifts to Niagara for Game 4 on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 pm (Gale Centre) with Game 5 the following night back in Glanbrook (7:30 pm, Glanbrook Arena).
