This contest would once again be tied up in the top of the fifth inning. Working with two outs and runners on first and second, Prybylinksi hit a single to left field. However, it would be a fielding error that allowed the Horseheads to score tying the game at 3-3.

Up 5-3, the Horseheads kept the Big Sticks scoreless until the bottom of the ninth inning. A wild pitch while Mason Schwellenbach was at bat tied the game at 5-5.

After the Big Sticks, led by relief pitcher Dallas Bryan, forced three consecutive outs, the Big Sticks' offense picked up where it left off.
