Dr. Tom Pashby Trainer of the Year Award Nominations Now Being Accepted

The Hockey Development Centre for Ontario will be accepting nominations for the Dr. Tom Pashby Trainer of the Year Award for the 2018-2019 season.    

 

This award signifies outstanding achievement in the area of safety and risk management and contribution to the Hockey Trainers' Certification Program. The nominees must possess the following criteria: 

  • Must have attained Level 3 of the HTCP or equivalent training in the opinion of the HDCO member association.
  • Must be a member of an Ontario Hockey Canada Branch/Division.
  • May either be in a volunteer or professional capacity.
  • May be active or retired.
  • May be nominated any number of years but can only receive the award once.

 

An award is then presented to the regional nominees of each participating HDCO member organization. From those nominees one provincial winner is selected by the HDCO selection committee.

 

Past recipients from the Ontario Hockey Federation include; Darlene Gabarro (GTHL), Lisa Parise (NOHA), Bob Radojcin (OMHA), Shawn Osborne (ALLIANCE), David Smith (OMHA), Dr. Johanna Carlo (GTHL), Brian Stittle (OMHA), Jonathan Geddes (OMHA), Tony Caravaggio (OMHA), Darryl Bossence (OMHA), Robert Minnema (GTHL), Paul Robson (OMHA), Robert Vincentini (NOHA), Brian Doherty (ALLIANCE), George Partridge (OMHA), Mark Baxter (OHA) and Bob McLeod (OHA).
 

All nominations must be endorsed and submitted by an HDCO member association, nominations are due by April 1, 2019
