PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MIKE MINETTA, LONG ISLAND THUNDER

Mike Minetta (SUNY Old Westbury), went 8 for 11 in three games.  Minetta added six RBI's to go along with 3 runs scored during the three game stretch.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK:

GEORGE RODRIGUEZ, LONG ISLAND LIGHTNING

George Rodriguez (Fordham University) takes home the Pitcher of the Week Award.  Rodriguez tossed 3 scoreless innings against the Astros to notch his first win of the season.  He held the Astros to no hits while striking out 7 batters.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:

JASON GOLDSTEIN, LONG ISLAND THUNDER

Jason Goldstein (Union College) struck out 5 batters in two innings of work.
