- Specific exercises and cueing for each element
- Common Injuries – prevention and troubleshoot
- Effective warm ups and cool downs – specific exercises addressing muscle activation, how to develop mobility and stability, methods for easy soft tissue release and when and how to address flexibility
Core Training
- What constitutes the core and how to program core into training
- Effective exercises for rotation, flexion, extension and lateral flexion
- Appropriate progressions and regressions
- What exercises may be best to avoid
Explore the 5 Basic Movements
- Basic Assessment for developing a program
- How to develop a strength program for in season and off season
- Specific exercises with progressions and regressions for each of the 5 movements
- Cues to address form and get the most from each exercise
- Common faults and how to coach them
- Do the benefits outweigh the risks – exercises I avoid and why
- How to train groups/individuals with minimal equipment
