2017 BANTAM NATIONALS: DAY 4 RECAP

DAY 4

After three days of lacrosse round robin action we have some clear separation between teams and playoffs are seating is one step closer to being set. Here’s your recap of everything Bantam Nationals on Wednesday, August 2nd

 

Game 23: Quebec vs Nova Scotia

Quebec and Nova Scotia kicked our fourth day off and it was a defensive battle with neither team seeming to find the back of the net. Final score in this one Quebec 3-2 over Nova Scotia.

 

Game 24: British Columba vs Manitoba

British Columbia came to play on Wednesday and wasted no time getting on the scoreboard. This shooting clinic ended with a final score of 14-0 in favor of British Columbia.

 

Game 25: Nova Scotia vs Ontario

Team Ontario insists upon staying undefeated through four days of tournament play. Today was no different as Nova Scotia just had no answer for the quick stick skills of Ontario. The final score in this one was 13-1.

 

Game 26: First Nations vs Alberta

Team Alberta defeats First Nations in a landslide 8-1 victory. An intense matchup as both teams battled physically. This heated exchange featured a shooting gallery from Alberta’s offensive attackers.

 

Game 27: Manitoba vs Saskatchewan

In the highlight game of the day the largest crowd of the tournament came to see this game and the teams on the floor didn’t disappoint. A back and forth defensive battle that saw Saskatchewan get their second win of the tournament, beating Manitoba 6-3.

 

Game 28: British Columbia vs Quebec

Eva Cliché-Trevail played excellent holding British Columbia to only 8 goals. Team Quebec ran into penalty trouble which didn't help their cause and they end up falling short in this one with British Columbia winning 8-3.
