On May 19, Aneudi Garcia twirled a one-hit shutout against the Downtown Bulls, in a masterful pitching performance that saw him strike out eight batters and walk just one. The Bulls’ lone hit off Garcia came in the first inning and the hurler responded by sitting down the next 19 men he faced. Garcia faced just two batters above the minimum on the day to help the Yankees AA squad improve to 7-3 on the season.
