Atwater jumped out to an 11-0 lead, but the Rams ended up winning 14-11 in the series finale.

 

On the Mound- 

Joseph Saenz started for Atwater, going 4 innings and giving up 10 runs. Brayden Bebee (Henderson State) was tagged with the loss, as he threw 3 innings in this game. 

 

According to their stat book, Zach Askin threw 8.2 innings, struck out 11 and walked 10. 

 

Game Summary- 

The Aviators were led by long balls in this game. Pete Bizzini (Sonoma State University) went 3-5 with 2 homers, 4 RBI and 2 runs. Also, Drew Gwerder (Holy Names University) hit his first homerun of the summer season, in lieu of his 2-5 game.

 

Reno was able to hit a lot of homeruns against the Aviators pitching. The two teams combined for 49 long balls in the 6 game series.
