Golden Giants roll in game one

ROSSVILLE — The Topeka Golden Giants used the long ball to build an early lead then used a small-ball approach to put away the Rossville Rattlers.
The Giants smacked five home runs in the first five innings, two by Quinn Waterbury, to build a 7-1 lead then used three singles and a double to produce five runs in the eighth and post a 13-5 Mid-Plains League victory over the Rattlers on Friday at Joe Campbell Memorial Stadium.
