Juan Ramon of the Riders threw eight innings of relief in Saturday’s 14-inning marathon game against the Cardinals, holding Elmjack at bay with nine strikeouts to earn a hard-fought win for his club. Offensively, Ramon would go 6-for-8 with five stolen bases on the day. In game two, he would score the tying run in a six-inning contest that would eventually be ruled a draw.
