Owls Returning to National Tournament

Danbury, CT- For the 2nd time in as many years, the Keene State College Owls Men's Ice Hockey Club has advance to the the ACHA National Tournament in the most dramatic fashion possible.  Trailing Northeastern University 3-1 after two periods of play in the Regional Final, Keene rode a spectacular goaltending performance from Carlin Testa and goals from Cooper Hines and Andrew Pierce to force overtime where Tucker Johnson played the role of hero, scoring just 2:51 into sudden death to end the Huskies' season and propel the Owls to the National Tournament later this month in Columbus, Ohio.

Keene State (18-6-2) will play Lindenwood University, Liberty University and Williston State in pool play at the National Tournament, beginning on March 15th.  Information about fundraising for tournament expenses will be released shortly.
