Game Preview: West Chester vs. Seton Hall

After falling to Liberty University in late October in Virginia, The Red Hawks were able to even the season series at 2 games each at home last weekend. Junior Britt Meneghin lead the way in the first game with all 5 Red Hawk tallies as the team edged Liberty by a score of 5-3. Alex Tepper, Victoria Nicolosi, and Mikaela Schultz all had strong performances as well adding assists to Meneghins 5 goals.
In the second game the Red Hawks were able to earn another hard fought victory by a margin of 4-1. Britt Meneghin added two more goals to her 7 goal weekend and newcomers Kristen Iattarelli and Victoria Nicolosi added the additional insurance that the team needed to seal their 3rd win of the season. Junior goaltender Kawanne Ferguson stopped 41 of 37 total shots on the weekend as she has become increasingly stronger in net as the season has gon on. The Red Hawks also received a solid defensive perdormance from Amanda Peterson who was a +5 on the weekend.
The Red Hawks moved to an overall record of 3-5-0-0 on the season and will face Rutgers on December 10th.
