Rivals Shawn Corness and Corey Eckstein unite with Fraser ...

As the weather began to improve later in March, FVC's play has shown steady and marked improvement. Sure, in this inaugural season we're just playing exhibition games, and we are thankful to teams who put us on their schedule, but nobody wants to lose to a brand new team, and to top it off, a team of Freshmen!
As the calendar turned from March to April, FVC received TRU for a 9-inning game. TRU, on it's way to Vancouver Island for a four game set against CCBC rival VIBI, used seven pitchers as FVC beat them 15-4. The game was tied going into the 7th inning, but FVC blew it open with 8 runs in the bottom of the 7th and 5 more in the bottom of the eighth. (boxscore)
On Sunday April 3 the Okanagan Athletics were in Chilliwack. FVC won both ends of the doubleheader 6-3 in 9-innings and 10-1 in 7-innings. (the second game officially ended after 7-innings, but the teams played an extra inning as time allowed, and FVC put up another run.)
The Okanagan Athletics have not published a roster yet, nor did they provide a lineup card for the games.
