The Brockton Rox (13-19) built an early lead against the Seacoast Mavericks (20-10), scoring three runs in the first inning, en route to a 8-5 win on Thursday at Campanelli Stadium.

The Brockton Rox scored in the first on an RBI single by Alex Perry, an RBI single by Ben Porter, and an RBI single by Dillon Cooper.

Porter racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Brockton Rox.

Justin Lasko recorded his second win of the year for the Brockton Rox. He allowed one run over five innings. Lasko struck out four, walked two and gave up eight hits.

Casey Aubin was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out six.
