The South Bay Storm get on top of the San Francisco Seagulls early but can't hang on in 6-1 loss

The South Bay Storm (13-7) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 6-1 to the San Francisco Seagulls (13-11) on Sunday.

While the South Bay Storm led until the fourth inning, the San Francisco Seagulls worked their way back and took the lead on a three-run single by Neil Sterling.

Sterling went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the San Francisco Seagulls. He singled in the second and fourth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

Dylan Yamasaki reached base three times in the game for the South Bay Storm. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Jared Koenig got the win, running his season record to 4-0. He allowed one run over six innings. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered eight hits.

RJ Hanson (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
