Hobbies:  Cooking, video games, gym, movies – I cook the same thing every day, chicken and rice, fish and rice, or pork and rice.  When I have time, I get recipes from the internet to try.

Favorite sport besides hockey:  Football – just to watch, I’ve never played it.  And basketball – I like watching the slam dunk contest.

Favorite team:  [smiles] Danville Dashers!

Favorite athlete:  Eric Lindros

Favorite type of music:  Rap, especially old school

Favorite rappers:  Tupac, Nicki Minaj, Notorious B.I.G.

Favorite book:  Bobby Orr:  My Game 

Favorite movie and genre:  Comedies and horror like Paranormal Activity and movies about Ouija boards.  I’m the only one who likes them; everyone else is scared.  Z [roommate Zach Zamora] says he’s not scared, but he’s scared 100%.  [laughs]

Favorite TV show:  Blue Mountain State

Favorite animal:   My cat

Favorite meal:  Oatmeal with peanut butter, bananas and cinnamon – I eat it every day for breakfast.

Favorite junk food:  Pringles

Favorite beverage:  Dr. Pepper

Favorite car/truck:  Rolls Royce

Favorite video game:  NHL

Favorite superhero:  Incredible Hulk

Favorite holiday:  My birthday [laughs] – The last three years I didn’t celebrate my birthday.  I want a big party!

Favorite cause or charity:  Kids who need help – It doesn’t matter what kind of help, just as long as it benefits kids.

Favorite vacation destination:  Mexico – I haven’t been there, but I want to see the Aztec pyramids.

Favorite place to go to relax:  Gym

Favorite quote:  [Laughs] “I’m not going to jail for you or anybody!” It’s from the movie Wayne’s World.  I just think it’s funny.

Pet peeve:  Waiting on people – when I’m ready to go and they are not.

One thing on your bucket list:  To win the Stanley Cup

One thing you can’t live without:  Hockey

Person you would most like to meet and why:  My future wife because I can’t envision what she will be like

Best advice you ever received:  Never give up

Proudest moment:  When I started cooking by myself

Best childhood memory:  I got a new hockey stick when I was around 10, and I cut it myself.  I wasn’t wearing my skates, though, so I cut it too short.  I was so upset!  I still used it but it was so uncomfortable.

One simple pleasure:  Scoring a goal in warm ups

One guilty pleasure:  Chocolate brownies
