Shawn Mackie had four goals and two assists to lead the Port Hope Panthers to a 10-3 victory over the Amherstview Jets.
Mackie got on the scoresheet 9:00 into the first period. He then added goals at 1:38 into the second, at 18:04 into the second, and at 1:25 into the third.Port Hope forced Amherstview's netminders to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots and forcing 21 saves. Adam Redgate made eight stops and Ryan Kaszuba made 13. The Panthers stifled the Jets' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Port Hope surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Panthers have scored at the pace of 5.8 goals per game during the current campaign.

Amherstview also got points from Yake, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Amherstview also got a goal from Zach Kish as well. More assists for Amherstview came via Cody Jodoin, Cody Smith, and Joey Mayer, who each chipped in one.
