Dante Cecere gave South Fayette the lead in the first period, and Westmont Hilltop was never able to catch up in a close game that ended 4-2.

A goal 14:30 into the first period by Cecere proved to be the game winner, and powered South Fayette to the victory. Glenn Manni assisted on the tally.

Cecere had a great game for South Fayette, netting two goals.

South Fayette excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

South Fayette also had goals scored by Steven Anton and Jeremy Anthos, who scored one goal each. More assists for South Fayette came via Spencer Barber and Brandon Poage, who each chipped in one.

Westmont Hilltop did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Westmont Hilltop averages 4.5 goals per game.

Westmont Hilltop was helped by Nicholas McQuillan, who racked up one goal. McQuillan scored 1:53 into the third period to make the score 3-2 South Fayette. Isac Jangard picked up the assist. Westmont Hilltop also got a goal from Austin Degrange as well. In addition, Westmont Hilltop received assists from Nate Shorto and Tyler Flowers, who contributed one each.

Kyle Sharp recorded 15 saves for South Fayette. South Fayette incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. David Cavrak made 25 saves for Westmont Hilltop on 29 shots. Westmont Hilltop incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
