Before the season began, expectations for the Women's Hockey team at Montclair State were minimal. With 12 rostered players and a program that won 1 game a season ago, the team has exceeded the goals set for this year. With 4 wins already, the team looks to make a statement in two weeks against a solid Liberty program.

Last weekend the Montclair Blues U19 Women's team hosted Montclair State. The Red Hawks received two goals from Britt Meneghin and an additional two from Mikaela Schultz to cap off an impressive 4-1 win against the Blues.

This season, the Red Hawks are eligible to be regionally ranked as an ACHA program. Not many had thought it would be possible, but each week they are proving that they just may belong in the ranking mix.
