Raimo Eskelinen is a forward from Kangasala, Finland who likes to score goals. This Fin came over seas for a chance to play north american hockey. Born in 1997 and standing at six feet tall, Raimo’s favorite place to put the puck is five hole, without a celebration. His mentality in the locker room is very serious as he strives everyday to be the best that he can, in the classroom, inside the gym, and on the ice. His goal as a foreign player is to progress up to Division One hockey as a Minnesota Gopher at The University of Minnesota. His favorite player in the NHL is John Travers of the New York Islander’s because when he was a young boy, John gave him one of his game sticks. Raimo is a certified Scuba diver, he enjoys listening to Eminem, and eating Macaroni and Cheese on his free time. The Whitefish Wolverines are proud to have number 88 in the line-up for the 2015-16 Tier II WSHL Hockey Season.
