Due to some early season injuries and player personnel movement, the Salem Ice Dogs of the Empire Junior B Hockey League, have immediate openings for full season players.  We are looking for 2 defensemen and 3 forwards to help fill out our roster, so we will be better able to compete in a very strong Junior B league.  We are looking for 92 birth year or younger.  These players can come from anywhere, US, Canada, Europe.  We have housing and jobs available for any out of state players.  Because of our unique situation, we also have financial assistance available for these players.  What this means is that their only responsibility to the team would be to pay the $350 per month billet fee for living arrangements.  Some meals would be provided by the host family, but the majority of meals they would be responsible for.  The team will provide equipment, transportation, hotels, meals on road, and minor incidentals.  We practice 4 days a week, with a 2 hour skills session weekly and the majority of the games are on the weekends.  We still have 30+ leagues games left, in addition to some non-league games.  The Empire Junior B league is heavily scouted by NCAA scouts and the Eastern Junior Hockey League, one of the top Junior A leagues in the US.
