Championship Game
Team Ontario spread their offense out with nine different goal scorers finding their names on the scoresheet. Jonathan Donville, Matthew Gaudet and Justin Scott each netted a pair for Team O, with single markers added by Benjamin Utrosa, Dalton Follows, Tyler Stinson, Curtis Woodland, Connor McClelland, and Tristan Hanna.
Riley Phillips was the leading goal scorer for Team BC netting half of his team's 10 goals. Other goal scorers for Team BC included Nathaniel Kozevnikov (2g) Riley Duimel, Dylan Foulds and Connor McNeill.
Team Ontario led 7-2 by the end of the first half. A late fourth quarter surge by Team BC closed the gap but was not enough to push pass Team Ontario, as Team Ontario claimed the National title with a final score of 12-10.
Bronze Medal Matchup
Playing on home soil, in front of the hometown fans boosted Team Nova Scotia up to capture the bronze medal in the 2015 First Nations championships.
Facing Team Manitoba, teams were tied at 11 a piece with 10min remaining in the game. Team Nova Scotia went on a 5-0 scoring run in the last half of the 4th quarter to pull ahead claiming the bronze medal with a final score of 16-11.
Team Nova Scotia goal scorers: Zac Carrigan (4), Jerome Glowacki (3), Alex Pace (2), Luke Smeltzer (2), Thomas Bakeef, Connor Aquanno, Mitchel Broussard, Cole Davis, and Reilly Letterick.
Team Manitoba goal scorers: Tyler Meixner (4), Keigan Bannerman (2),Garret DePage (2), Kyle Wabick, Robert Harrow, and Ryden Marsh.
