The Chillicothe Paints (20-17) needed 11 innings on Sunday to take down the Richmond RiverRats (13-23) 9-6 at McBride Stadium.
The RiverRats couldn't slow down Deion Tansel, who paced the Paints with five hits. He singled in the first, third, seventh, and tenth innings and doubled in the eleventh inning.
It was a good day at the plate for the RiverRats' Troy Paris. Paris went 3-6 and scored two runs. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.
Dalton Boucher (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
