Four RiverRats Named All-Stars

The Prospect League announced Friday afternoon that the host Richmond RiverRats will have four players representing them in the 2015 Prospect League All-Star Game.

Headlining the selections is catcher Aiden McMahan, one of the top hitters in the Prospect League in terms of batting average and home runs. He will be joined by fellow teammates Jeff Kammer (3B), Troy Paris (1B), and Joba Ferrell (OF).

The festivities kickoff on Tuesday, July 7th, at Don McBride Stadium with the 2015 Home Run Derby. The event will start at 7 PM with gates opening at 6 PM.

On Wednesday, July 8th, the league’s best take the field for the 7th annual Prospect League All-Star Game. The game will begin at 7:05 PM with a fireworks display to follow.
