Joe Balfour pitched 11 innings to lift the Mt. Hood (35-13) to a 2-1 win over the Lower Columbia at David Story Field in 11 innings.

A walk-off single by Thomas Lane gave the Mt. Hood the win.

Lane was solid at the plate for the Mt. Hood. Lane went 1-4 and drove in one. He singled in the eleventh inning.

Christian Parsons (3-2) took the loss for the Lower Columbia (40-10). He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
