2015 Summer Season

• NYCMBL Rules – The general rules and regulations used for NYCMBL 2014 Summer Season will be used for NYCMBL 2015 Summer Season, with a few modifications
• Rosters – Unlimited
• Cost
  • $3,500
• Payment Due Dates – In order to guarantee a spot for your team, please pay by the dates listed below.  Teams are encouraged to pay league fees in advance to the dates listed below so we can purchase the appropriate amount of field time. 
  • January 23, 2015 – $500 deposit (nonrefundable)
  • February 13, 2015 - $1,500 (total of $2,000 paid)
  • March 6, 2015 - $1,500 (total $3,500 paid)

  • Governors Field
  • Randal’s Island 1
  • Randal’s Island 2
  • Old Boys
  • Elm Jack
  • Red Hook
  • Parade Grounds
  • College Point
• Baseballs –
  • 5 boxes for each team of A.D. STARR Baseballs
• Teams – First come first serve.
• Stats/Registration –
  • Full player statistical reporting and analysis provided by Pointstreak Sports Technologies
  • Players must register before playing
  • All players must register by April 15, 2014
• Regular Season –
  • 16-17 Weeks (25-30 Games)
  • Opening week will be April 5-6
  • Last week will be July 26-27
• Playoffs – A
  • All teams make playoffs (single elimination)
  • Championship 2 out of 3
  • First week August 1-2
  • Last week August 8-9
  • Tournament style schedule applies (meaning, there may be multiple rounds in the first weekend for lower seeded teams)
• Playoffs – AA
  • 6 teams (top 2 seeds get 1st round bye, bottom 4  single elimination)
  •  4 remaining teams play double elimination bracket
  • First week August 8-9
  • Last week August 15-16
  • Tournament style schedule applies (meaning, there may be multiple rounds in the first weekend for lower seeded teams)

• Prize – Prizes are subject to team being in good standing through the date of winning the championship
