The Marthas Vineyard Sharks (22-19) took home a marathon 5-4 victory over the Brockton Rox (25-18) on Friday at Vineyard Baseball Park.

With the score tied at four in the eleventh inning,, scoring Steve Buckley.

Ryan Kelly was hot from the plate for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. Kelly went 3-6, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.

Scott Stonestreet pitched lights out for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. The Brockton Rox managed just one hit off of the the Marthas Vineyard Sharks' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Cale Giddings racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Brockton Rox. He homered in the second inning.

Brendan King couldn't get it done on the mound for the Brockton Rox, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed one run.
