A walk-off single from Matt Ramsay brought home the winning run for the North Shore Navigators (16-20) in a 3-2 victory over the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (19-17) at Fraser Field on Thursday.

Ramsay was solid at the plate for the North Shore Navigators. Ramsay went 0-0 and scored one run. He singled in the ninth inning.

Joe Coyne racked up two RBIs on two hits for the North Shore Navigators. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Kyle Gauthier handled the Marthas Vineyard Sharks' lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Gauthier allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks over six innings.

The Marthas Vineyard Sharks' Ryan Kelly was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third inning.

Josh Young improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the North Shore Navigators. Young struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

Matt Binder was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
