The Syracuse Silver Knights announced today they have joined the Professional Arena Soccer League and will kick off their fourth season this fall.

The Silver Knights are coached and co-owned by longtime Cleveland Crunch star Tommy Tanner.  After missing the playoffs their first two years, the Silver Knights finished the 2013-14 season with a 12-8 record and narrowly lost to the Blast in the league semifinals.

The Syracuse Silver Knights play their games at the Oncenter War Memorial Arena and have averaged over 3,000 fans per game during their first three seasons.

SIlver Knights General Manager Jon Ramin and Vice President Peter Ramin previously owned CNY United, an amateur team that competed in the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL-Premier) from 2007 to 2009.
