Coming to America

Imagine being 19 years old, traveling alone across the world to another country where you barely speak the language and moving in with a family whom you have never met -- all for a chance to play hockey.

Imagine playing eight games on a professional team and scoring 19 points and going on with that team to win a national championship.

Then imagine after that season is over, captaining your national all-star team to a World Championship and having a replica of your medal displayed in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
