Dominic Trento had two goals and two assists to lead xJersey Hitmen to a 5-0 victory over Connecticut Yankees.

Trento scored on the power play at 8:01 into the first period to make the score 1-0 xJersey Hitmen and again while 16:35 into the first to make the score 2-0 xJersey Hitmen.

Chris Funkey spearheaded the defensive effort for xJersey Hitmen, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 32 saves for the shutout. The solid play of Funkey will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.0.
