Timothy Doherty had two goals and one assist to lead xJunior Bruins to a 5-2 victory over Connecticut Yankees.

Doherty found the back of the net 18:28 into the first period to make the score 3-1 xJunior Bruins and again while 12:37 into the second to make the score 5-2 xJunior Bruins.

xJunior Bruins excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. xJunior Bruins got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
