Buick skated in 17 games and averaged more than a point per game during his freshman campaign. He recorded10 goals and 11 assist for a total of 21 points. He added 5 power-play points with 2 goals and 3 assist. He scored his first collegiate goal against Penn State Brandywine on October 9, 2015. Buick had a career high 4 point game against University of Central Florida on October 17, 2015. He registered one 3 point games, and five 2 point games. Additionally, he helped the Lions return to the ACHA National tournament for the second straight year. In the ACHA National tournament he appeared in 3 games. He was named the player of the game twice during the National Tournament. Buick added 2 goals and 2 assist during the ACHA National tournament. He scored his first ACHA National tournament goal against Kennesaw State University on March 8, 2016. He ended the year with a plus/minus rating of +13 rating
BEFORE BRYN ATHYN COLLEGE:
Buick appeared in 103 games for the Sicamous Eagles in two seasons. He tailed 73 career points with 39 goals and 34 assist. During the 2011 – 2012 KIJHL playoffs Buick lead the all skaters in points with 18. Buick helped the Eagles to KIJHL conference finals in his final season. Buick earned a call up to Dawson Creek Rage of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) in 2011 – 2012. He was named an assistant captain forSicamous during his final season.
