Native of Katonah, New York… Attended John Jay High School, where he was named an All-American and was the New York State Section 1 Point Leader, with 108 (54 goals and 54 assists)... Went on to play lacrosse at Fairfield University, where he was named Second Team All-New England in 2005 & 2007 and Second Team All-GWLL in 2004 & 2005. Tewaaraton Watchlist candidate and competed in the prestigious USILA North-South game.Michael finished his collegiate career ranked 4th all-time in points and was inducted into the Fairfield University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2015. Majored in Communications… He began his MLL career with the Denver Outlaws in 2015, where he was named First Year Player of the Year with 32 goals and 16 assists. Denver Outlaws won the MLL Championship in 2016, as Bocklet led the team with 10 pts in the postseason. In 2017, Mike was selected to the MLL All-Star team after finishing second in the league in goals scored and fifth in total points. In three seasons, Bocklet has amassed a total of 154 points with 108 goals and 42 assists.Joined the Lizards organization during the 2017 offseason… Michael is entering his second season as the head men’s lacrosse coach at Purchase College. He is also the director and co-founder of the X10 Mountain Lacrosse Academy and Moonlight Lacrosse, LLC… Currently resides in Westchester with his wife Emily, and their two daughters, Lucy and Lina Kay.
