Last season, Breton-Lebreux scored a total of 9 points, 2 goals, and 7 assist in 24 games. She was also a crucial member of the 2011-12 championship team, leading the Stars to be fhe first team ever to win back-to-back Clarkson Cups. During the 2010-11 season, Breton-Lebreux scored 8 goals and added 3 assists as she captained the Stars to their second Clarkson Cup Championship win in three years.
Prior to her tenure with the Montréal club, she was an All-Canadian in 2000-01 with the Concordia University Stingers, a team that she captained during her last two university seasons. In her illustrious hockey career, she has participated in 3 NWHL championships, 5 Canadian Interuniversity Sport Championship finals, 9 Esso National Championships and won a gold medal at the World Roller Hockey Championships in 2006.
Breton-Lebreux started playing hockey at the age of 6. She is a co-founder of the CWHL, has served as a board member and continues to work relentlessly to further develop the world’s top women’s hockey league. She complements this dedication with a career as the strength and conditioning manager for all the varsity teams at Concordia University. As captain of the Montréal team, she feels that her teammates’ enjoyment of playing with Montréal is as important as the success of the team.
