Played for Upper Canada AAA Cyclones 2010-2011 season. The team finished fourth place with 31 points. In 33 games - league/playoffs - Alex had 24 points. Started playing hockey at the age of six with the South Grenville Minor Hockey Association. In his last year playing for South Grenville B Rep the team won the Upper Canada East and West Championship in 2007-2008. In his Major Bantam year he received 48 points in 36 games - league/playoffs - and in his Minor Midget season he accomplished 26 points in 28 game - season/playoffs - with the Rideau St. Lawrence AA Kings. Stephenson was drafted by the Brockville Braves in the fourth round in 2011. Entering grade 12 at South Grenville District High School. Alex has had an average of 80% in his first three years at South Grenville.
