Last Year Eric is a defenseman/winger who played for the Mississauga Reps AAA club in the GTHL last year. He played 39 games mostly as a defenseman and finished with eight goals and 17 assists and a +9 rating. He was invited to attend the Oshawa Generals rookie camp in May of 2011. He played in two inter-squad games as a defenseman that included some of the Generals vets from last year. Had an assist, killed off two penalties and had a +3 rating in the two games played.Previous In minor midget Eric played for the North York Knights GTHL club as both a defenseman and winger. He had 18 goals and 36 assists in 58 games. The team finished first in the regular season, were City Champions and were rated the top team in Ontario. Eric scored the championship goal for the team in the playoffs. The year before that Eric played for the Vaughan Panthers club in the GTHL and was the leading scorer on the team as a defenseman with 22 goals and 61 assists in 83 games. The team finished first in the regular season, were City Champions and played in the OHF Provincial Championships. Eric is a versatile player who is equally comfortable on the wing or defense and plays an energetic, physical game. He can contribute offensively but is very responsible in his own end as well.
