Last Season: First Junior “A” season with the Brockville Braves after being drafted in 2008. Keane, the most feared enforcer in the league, showed his ability to score goals. Keane not only policed the area for his teammates, but showed how offensively dangerous he can be. Playing in limited situations in his rookie season on a power house Braves team, Keane gained a great deal of experience on what it will take to bring his game to the next level. He was awarded the Don McLean award (commitment, hard work and dedication) for the Brockville Braves. More on Keane: Played five games with the Brockville Braves in the 2008/09 season as an affiliate player. Played two years with the Brockville Jr. B Tikis, starting in 2007/08 as a 16 year old. Played 5 years with the Rideau St. Lawrence Kings in minor hockey. Played high school hockey. Graduated Brockville Collegiate Institute where he played 4 years of football with the school. Awarded Defensive Player of the Game in the Brockville Bowl for three consecutive years. Finished silver in the provincial lacrosse championship in 2007.
