Last Season: Stephen was brought back to Brockville at the deadline in a move the Braves felt necessary for the Eastern Canadian Championship run. Stephen is a hard- working winger who is willing to go into the dirty areas to chase down pucks, an ingredient the Braves felt they needed. Stephen gave everything the Braves needed from him. More on Bird: Drafted by the Braves in 2008. Graduated from Thousand Island Secondary School in 2009. Started 2009-2010 season with the Kanata Stallions after being traded in the summer of 2009. Was then traded back to the Brockville Braves midway through the 2009-2010 season. Registered 22 points in 56 games in 2008-2009 season and registered 3 points in 10 games in the 2008-2009 playoffs with the Brockville Braves. He also received the Don McLean award (commitment, hard work and dedication). Played 2007-2008 Season with the Arnprior Junior "B" Packers where he received the Iron Man award. Played his minor hockey for the Deep River Knights. Played high school hockey. Played 4 years of high school football where he was named a captain.
