Native of Yorktown Heights, New York… Brian’s first experience with lacrosse came when he was 7 years old and his brothers, Paul and Steve, told him to get in the net with an attack stick and no pads... Attended Yorktown High School, where he was the starting goalie and won two state titles… Went on to play lacrosse at Johns Hopkins, where he was a three-time All-American and won the Ensign C. Markland Kelly award in 1998, which is given to the nation’s best goalie. He is ranked second in school history with 689 career saves. Majored in Political Science… Brian was drafted by the Lizards in the inaugural draft in the 6th round. He helped the Lizards make the championship game in the 2002 season. After taking some time off, he returns to the Lizards during the 2018 Supplemental Draft… He coached the New York Athletic Club in the American Lacrosse League from 2007 to 2011. In 2010, Brian was elected into the Hudson Valley Chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame… Brian is currently a Senior Vice President of advisory and transaction services at CBRE. Currently resides in Briarcliff Manor, New York with his wife Amanda, two daughters Emily (7), Charlotte (5) and expecting a baby boy in May. |
