Brendan Mundorf had four goals to lead the Chesapeake Bayhawks to a 20-13 victory over the Denver Outlaws. Mundorf got on the scoresheet 1:33 into the 1st quarter. Then added goal at 10:23 into the 1st, at 12:14 into the 1st and at 2:46 into the 2nd. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. The Bayhawks bested their season scoring average. This season, Chesapeake averages 14.5 goals per contest. More assists for Chesapeake came via Matt Abbott and Tyler German, who contributed one apiece. The Outlaws were led by Callum Crawford, who tallied two goals and three assists. Denver additionally got points from Brian Kormondy, who also registered two goals and two assists. Denver also had goals scored by Jeremy Sieverts, who had three and Chris Bocklet, Noah Molnar, Tim Cox, Thomas Kelly, Matthew Hossack and Domenic Sebastiani, who each put in one. In addition, Denver received assists from John Grant, who had one. Brian Phipps took the win and made 16 saves before being replaced by Niko Amato who made one save. Ryan LaPlante made four saves before being replaced by Johnny Rodriguez, who took the loss and made six saves. The Outlaws won 21 faceoffs to 15 for Chesapeake. Kelly won 21 for the Outlaws. |
