Trenton boosted by Urbani's play in net, beats Georgetown 2-1

Daniel Urbani stood on his head and made 32 saves to lead the Trenton Golden Hawks to a 2-1 victory over the Georgetown Raiders.

After the loss made the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series, Georgetown faces elimination next time out.

Trenton was led by Kevin Lavoie, who registered one goal. Lavoie scored 17:10 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Trenton. Adam Clements assisted on the tally.

The Golden Hawks' offense rang up 41 shots on the Raiders' net.

Trenton also got a goal from Danny Hanlon as well. More assists for Trenton came via Blayne Oliver and Lucas Brown, who each chipped in one.

Georgetown forced Trenton goalie Urbani to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.

The Raiders were led by Jake Payette, who scored the team's only goal. Payette scored 11:19 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Jordan Crocker picked up the assist.

The Golden Hawks incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Georgetown's Andrew Masters stopped 39 shots out of the 41 that he faced. The Raiders incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
