London downs Leamington in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

The London Nationals' Kyle Robinson scored 4:21 into overtime to beat the Leamington Flyers, 2-1 (OT).

The win by London clinched the best of seven series at 4-2.

Robinson had a great game for the Nationals, netting two goals.

London's Connor Hughes was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 44 saves and let only one puck past him. The solid play of Hughes will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.28.

Leamington was unable to stop the Nationals from sending pucks towards the net, and London eventually piled up 42 shots on goal.

More assists for London came via Callum Ruddock, who had two and John Adams and Trevor Dulong, who contributed one each.

The Flyers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in eight chances. Leamington's offense rang up 45 shots on the Nationals' net.

The Flyers were led by Mitchell Amante, who scored the team's only goal. Amante scored on the power play 20 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-0 Leamington. Jacob McGhee picked up the assist.

London incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Leamington's Michael Barrett stopped 40 shots out of the 42 that he faced. The Flyers incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
