A hat trick by Tyson Baker was the highlight in Cullitons' 7-0 win against the Waterloo Siskins. Baker got on the scoresheet 10:41 into the first period. He then added goals at 6:53 into the second and at 8:24 into the third.With the win, the Stratford Cullitons evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown. Stratford forced Siskins' goaltenders to work between the pipes, launching 38 shots and forcing 31 saves. Mitchell Datz made 21 stops and Bailey DeGasperis made 10. The Cullitons' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Waterloo power plays. Stratford also got points from Deven Kropf, who also racked up one goal and two assists and Hayden Broomhead, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Stratford included Dylan Lebold and Justin Graham, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Stratford were Cooper Stahl, Brock Heshka, Rob Grant, and Josh Higgins, who each chipped in one and Jared Nash and Zach Van Louwe, who contributed two each. Stratford's Alexander Brooks-Potts stopped 22 shots out of the 22 that he faced. The Cullitons totaled 11 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 1-for-7 on the power play. Stratford ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Graham was ejected from the game. Waterloo incurred 34 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
