Behind a great game by Tyler Hill, who had one goal and three assists, the Caledonia Corvairs defeated the St. Catharines Falcons, 6-3. Hill beat Joel Horodziejczyk with a shot 6:09 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Caledonia. Mitchell Fitzmorris picked up the assist. Hill dished an assist on Jake Brown's goal that made the score 1-0 Caledonia at 2:28 into the first period. He then added assists on Jordan Brown's goal at 13:20 into the second and on Fitzmorris' goal at 7:54 into the third.After the loss made the series score 3-0 in the best of seven series, St. Catharines faces elimination next time out. Caledonia's offense rang up 49 shots on the Falcons' net. Caledonia additionally got points from Fitzmorris, who also finished with two goals and one assist and Brown, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Ryan Punkari also scored for Caledonia. More assists for Caledonia came via Jacob Bianchi, who had two and Davis Brown, Matt McCartney, Tait Seguin, and Matthew Hore, who contributed one each. St. Catharines was helped by Owen Green, who racked up one goal. Green scored short handed 19:47 into the first period to make the score 2-1 St. Catharines. The Falcons found themselves down a man on Ty Learn's high sticking. Others who scored for St. Catharines included Broderick Kelly and Jake Evans, who scored one goal each. Caledonia totaled 33 minutes in penalty time with nine minors and one major and went 2-for-5 on the power play. The Corvairs ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Daniel Volpe was ejected from the game. Horodziejczyk recorded 43 saves for St. Catharines. The Falcons incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors. For St. Catharines, Cole Langan was ejected from the game.
