Victoria Howran tallied two points to lead WHITBY to a 3-0 victory over MISSISSAUGA.

The win gave WHITBY a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

WHITBY excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

WHITBY also got points from Alicia Pallister, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Briana Colangelo (C), who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. In addition, WHITBY received assists from Hailey Wilson and Katie Mikkelsen (A), who each chipped in one.

Rachel McQuigge rejected 20 shots on goal for WHITBY. WHITBY incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Lin Han made 20 saves for MISSISSAUGA on 23 shots. MISSISSAUGA incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
