The Carleton Place Canadians' Jacob Moreau scored 4:18 into overtime to beat the Brockville Braves, 4-3 (OT). The win gave Carleton Place a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. The Canadians pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 14 penalty minutes. Carleton Place was sparked by Moreau, who tallied one goal and one assist. The Canadians forced Brockville goalie Henry Johnson to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. Carleton Place also got points from Will LeNeave, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Carleton Place included Jordan Larson and Alex Friesen, who each put in one. In addition, Carleton Place received assists from Marcus Joseph, Geoff Kitt, Alex Robinson, Matt Lombardozzi, and Nicolas Carrier, who contributed one each. The Braves excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Brockville was helped by Liam Folkes, who registered one goal and one assist. Folkes scored 12:39 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Carleton Place. Neil Robinson assisted on the tally. Brockville additionally got points from Robinson, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Michael Murray also scored for Brockville.
