The Stratford Cullitons pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over the Elmira Sugar Kings on a clutch goal by Joe Leahy. The win by Stratford clinched the best of seven series at 4-2. The Cullitons were led by Tyson Baker, who tallied one goal. Baker scored seven seconds into overtime to make the score 5-3 Stratford. Hayden Broomhead picked up the assist. Stratford excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Cullitons kept Elmira's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jonathan Reinhart made 42 saves on 46 shots. Stratford also got points from Justin Graham, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Stratford included Jared Nash and Zach Van Louwe, who each put in one. More assists for Stratford came via Alexander Brooks-Potts, Deven Kropf, Anthony Kotsovos, Jack Scanlan, and Zander Pryor, who each chipped in one. The Sugar Kings were helped by Mackenzie MacSorley, who racked up one goal. MacSorley scored 15:59 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Stratford. Jeff Jordan assisted on the tally. Elmira also had goals scored by Quinten Bruce and Zac Coulter, who scored one goal each.
